Scholarship Requirements
The Brittanie Nichole Cecil Memorial Scholarship Fund is available to graduating seniors of Hilliard Darby and Twin Valley South High Schools, who desire to excel in life. To be eligible, you must meet the following criteria:
- Completed applications must be submitted to Guidance Office.
- Applicant must be accepted to a two or four year college or university, or an accredited trade, business or vocational school.
- Must have a G.P.A. of 2.5 or greater.
- Information must be submitted on the official application; no resumes will be considered.
No family members of the Board Members of the Brittanie Nichole Cecil Memorial Scholarship Fund, Inc. are eligible for a scholarship.
A total of four scholarships will be awarded each year in the amount of $1,000.00. There will be one scholarship awarded to a male recipient and one to a female recipient from each high school (Hilliard Darby and Twin Valley South High Schools).
The recipients of the scholarship from each school will be asked to submit a recent photograph and sign a media disclaimer to grant permission for the photograph and limited information to be published on the website established for this fund and/or in any other publication as the Board Members deem appropriate. The limited information would include the recipient’s name, high school, college, university or school to be attended and anticipated major or field of study.
